ZABAG has already recognized early the potential of bi-fold gates. We are producing this type of gate for over 10 years now and we constantly develop and improve it. The ZABAG bi-fold gate is enjoying continuously increasing demand. In the meantime it became one of the most successful products of ZABAG’s portfolio.

The result is a flexible and highly reliable gate system. The opening and closing times as well as the frequency are far superior to the conventional sliding gate. Today we can realize clear openings up to 14 m with a gate height of 2.40 m.
For example airports, seaports, logisticians, automotive manufactures and the pharmaceutical industry know the advantages of this gate. Our bi-fold gates are also used in the high security sector.
One more reason to differentiate ourselves with the name change from MAPO-QFG to MAPO-FGZ (Folding-Gate-Zabag) from others. So we give a unique and distinctive name to the quality and the product. This name meets the requirements of this universally applicable type of access protection.

The excavator is ready for use, the first cut of the spade has been made – the construction of the new production hall started today. In the next month ZABAG’s premises will increase – a new production hall as well as another office are planned. In the last years ZABAG has well established itself as a producer of access systems on the national and international market. Through the creation of a new production hall the much needed capacity can be adapted to the high demand.
Last week ZABAG’s CEO Mr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Michael Simon and the sales manager Mr. Martin Burgdorf visited together with their strategic partner Mr. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Löbl (industry specialist for the Arabic market) Dubai. A dedicated analysis of the region’s economic strengths and the visit at the INTERSEC Dubai resulted in concrete talks and business contacts. The demand on advanced security technology “Made in Germany” of the Middle East states promises further positive contacts. We are pleased about the great interest of the ZABAG products and the well-founded technical discussions.
