Sliding gates do not necessarily have to be made from steel. Cantilevered gates made from aluminium are an interesting alternative to traditional ways of securing private and commercial property or objects that are publicly accessible. Clearance widths of up to 12.0 m are implementable independent of road characteristics and slope. In addition, there is no need for tracks, rollers or foundations in the clear opening.
In combination with well-engineered and individually configurable control and safety technology, electrically-operated gates ensure highest ease of use providing drives with sufficient power reserve in accordance with all legal safety requirements.
ZABAG cantilevered sliding gate systems type KOMBI ALU are delivered preinstalled and therefore ensure quick and cost-saving installation on site. Effortless gate movement is guaranteed by rollers perfectly adjusted to the special extruded support profile made from highly pressure-resistant special polyamide, minimising wear at the same time.

Due to the gate leaf weight which is approx. 2/3 less compared to a steel gate, aluminium gates may be operated manually with ease and minimum effort.
